The article is to deliberate some points of the strategic decision making process of Imam Khomeini (ra) through a wisdom and philosophical view to his leadership and managerial styles and put them into order theoretically. It is the author’s assumption that deep understanding of Imam Khomeini’s (ra) strategic decision making is impossible except through understanding the bases of his wisdom and philosophical thoughts. The method of the research is “multi – case study” and Ad hoc content analysis method and the themes analysis method were used to classify and code the messages contents and Imam Khomeini’s (ra) names. According to the findings of the research, the nature of Imam Khomeini’s (ra) decisions making has been based on the realistic idealism. The product of such a decision making system will be wise strategic decisions.
