Studying Imam Ali’s (peace be upon him) sayings carefully, this article has initially divided Imam Ali’s (peace be upon him) cultural and thinking system into three parts: a. annihilating ethnical - tribal prejudices and establishing equality, b. vanishing economical corruption and caste differences, and c. fighting against injustice and observing human rights. Then, it has argued Imam Ali’s (peace be upon him) viewpoints on intercultural relations and finally, it has delibrated the impression of subcultural relations on the behavior of the rulers and officials of the Islamic government in three sections: a. the relations among different classes of the society, the relations among the religious minorities, and c. the relations among various tribes and races. Using library studies method, mainly based on the Nahjolbalagheh, the research has examined the issues via descriptive-analytical method. The results represent that comparing different cultures , Imam Ali (peace be upon him) has rejected false cultures reasonably and has approved true cultures , costumes , and traditions through observing them. He has severely emphasized on dealing with the people in different conditions. Establishing justice and equity the Imam (peace be upon him) has created ideal relationships among various cultures and people of different beliefs even those who have not believed in Islam.
