Abstract
In recent years, the behavioral policy making has received attention. This model, which was formed using insights from various branches of psychology and behavioral sciences, has been the subject of various criticisms. Criticisms have been directed at the approach of government intervention and its guardianship in the personal lives of citizens, and challenges that are specific to behavioral mechanisms and bring issues such as threats to the growth and dignity of individuals. In this article, first, a comprehensive map of the criticisms and ethical challenges introduced to the behavioral policy approach is reviewed, and then, using the methodology of semantic research, appropriate responses to the mentioned challenges are extracted from the thought of Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi (RA). Based on these implications, the possibility and limits of using behavioral policy based on the principles of Islamic ethics have been formulated. Based on these implications, the government should, by making interventions, arrangements, encouragement, groundwork, and creating the necessary restrictions, provide the possibility and conditions for achieving the aforementioned goal for all members of society, and create the basis for fulfilling the divine right as completely as possible.
