Abstract
The Islamic Republic of Iran's experience in using the tool of supportive diplomacy is considered one of the brilliant experiences of the Islamic system in exporting the revolution. The overseas offices of Jihad Sazandegi are known as one of the most efficient institutions of the Islamic Revolution in this field from the time of their establishment until their dissolution (1985-1990). In the present study, to discover the jihadi management model of the overseas offices of Jihad Sazandegi, twenty-two people who served in them were interviewed. Then, thematic analysis method was used to analyze the data. 132 initial themes were categorized under organizing themes, and finally five comprehensive themes were obtained to explain the model of the overseas offices of Jihad Sazandegi in exporting the Islamic Revolution: methods and goals, activity strategies, implementation methods, challenges and obstacles, results and achievements. The results of this study show that this diplomacy emphasizes the use of domestic and foreign capacities, maximum participation of the people, and international cooperation. Its implementation strategies include the use of volunteer labor, an agile management structure, and practical propaganda that, along with human and Islamic values, pursued broad goals such as strengthening international relations, increasing regional influence, and improving Iran's image. The research findings also reveal challenges: financial constraints, policy changes, weaknesses in human resource training, and sabotage by competitors.
