Abstract

This study is intended to investigate the mediating role of organizational climate in the relationship between Islamic work ethics and deviant behavior in the workplace and the quality of services among the educational employees. A questionnaire is employed for data collection. This research follows a descriptive-correlational method. The research population includes all educational employees of districts 1 and 2 of Urmia all of whom are selected as the sample by census method. To assess the relationship among the variables of this study, the structural equation modeling method is used. The findings of the research indicated that there was a significant correlation between all the variables (except the relationship between organizational climate and deviant behavior). The results also revealed the significance of the role of Islamic work ethics and the need to consider this concept as an organizational construction in relation to other organizational variables.
