This research is intended to find out factors affecting the attraction of medical elites (focusing on medical elites in The Great City of Tehran) to Basij. Having reviewed the related literature, the researchers reached to a theoretical basis with seven effective factors. The data gathered through library study as well as that of field study were analyzed using Likert scale. Then, they were analyzed through content analysis and SPPS software. The results indicated that factors such as belief and spirituality, revolutionary and internal motivations social status, legitimate advantages, facilitation of attraction and admission processes, participation in decision making, and academic activities by Basij were effective in the attraction of the medical elites to Basij.
