Using content analysis method in Islamic principles studies, the article tries to explore and analyze the theoretical bases of decision-making based on the Islamic ethics through the verses of the holy Quran and traditions.
The definitions of decision-making and ethics have been briefly introduced in the literature review.
The outcomes of this research displayed that the decision-making based on the Islamic ethics can seriously affect maximizing the process of decision-making and behavior of managers and that of organizations.
Analyzing subjects of theoretical fundamentals of decision-making, ethics, dimensions of the Islamic ethics, the distinction of practical and theoretical ethics, and the applicability of individual, social, and basic ethics, the research is going to answer the following question:
“What are the theoretical bases of decision-making based on the Islamic ethics?”
