Abstract
Control is one of the key elements of any successful management system. However, understanding the concept of control and its implementation methods in the Islamic intellectual system, and especially the perspective of Imam Ali (AS), goes beyond simply monitoring performance and compliance with predetermined goals. This concept is deeply intertwined with ethical, spiritual, and social dimensions and is far more complex than purely technical and mechanical approaches. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of identifying the factors affecting behavioral controls and presenting a model of behavioral controls in Nahj al-Balagha. This research is based on mixed research and is qualitative and quantitative in the inductive deductive paradigm, which is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of nature and survey method. The statistical population of the research is the professors of the Management Department of Lorestan University and the Islamic Azad University of Khorramabad, 13 of whom were selected using purposive sampling and based on the principle of theoretical adequacy. The data collection tool in the qualitative part is library resources and semi-structured interviews with experts, whose validity and reliability were confirmed by content and theoretical validity methods, and intra-coder and inter-coder reliability, respectively. Also, the data collection tool in the quantitative part is a questionnaire, whose validity and reliability were confirmed using content validity and test-retest reliability. In this study, qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis method and Maxqda software, and quantitative results were analyzed using ISM method. The results of the research are presented in the form of a behavioral control model in Nahjul-Balagha at five levels.
